Hi Christian,
Emails can be marked as "seen" on server. Is there also an option to mark them as UNseen on server?
BTW, PopMan hasn't been updated for more than two years (but still works as expected). Is there a new version in the pipeline by any chance? Just curious.
Best wishes,
Chris

There is no option for marking mails an unseen on server. What woul be the use case for this? Usually, you only load unseen mails from the server anyway.

Re: Mark email as UNseen on server
Exactly. Suppose you download an unseen email from the server, read it in your email client and then remove this email. Only later did you realise that you should have kept that mail in your email client. Now that the mail is "seen" on the server, you cannot download it again. If there were an option to mark this email as "unseen", you could easily download it again.
Re: Mark email as UNseen on server
Just a quick general question regarding feature requests. Are new features still taken into consideration for future builds or is PopMan 1.3.18, which was released more than three years ago, the last version?

Yes, new features are still taken into consideration for future releases.

This is good to know. Thank you very much, Christian.

I have been using Popman almost since its initial release and am extremely satisfied, as it is a reliable and consistent program.

However, one has to ask: does a program really need an update when it reliably does exactly what it was designed to do? Popman isn't a full-blown email client; it provides a quick notification in the taskbar indicating whether there is new email, with the added bonus of letting you take a quick peek at the content. Are new features still taken into consideration for future builds or is PopMan 1.3.18, which was released more than three years ago, the last version?

Popman does a great job, there is no doubt about it, but why not make it even better by introducing new and useful features? Apart from that, I just wanted to make sure that Popman has not drifted into abandonware. However, one has to ask: does a program really need an update when it reliably does exactly what it was designed to do?
